This early 1970s Tudor-style home in Cypress, TX featured solid 4x6 cedar rafter tails and original cedar accents—still structurally sound but overshadowed by failing siding. Our design kept the character while replacing key components for long-term durability.

Scope of Work

- Siding Replacement: Installed James Hardie lap siding to match the home’s proportions and withstand Houston’s climate.

- Trim Details: Overlaid Tudor-style trim onto existing stucco at the roofline to amplify visual character without structural overhaul.

- Paint Finish: Applied Sherwin Williams Emerald exterior paint in a custom color palette to highlight the cedar features and create a cohesive, low-sheen finish.
