Massive Exterior Repair on a Ranch House Turns Wall Fail into Focal Point

This oversized ranch home presented a unique challenge: a 26' tall brick wall spanning the entire right side of the porch—not only awkward in appearance, but poorly flashed, causing water to leak through the porch ceiling below.

We stepped in to fully resolve the issue and reinvent the exterior:

✔️ Full demo of failing brick wall followed by structural sheathing with OSB and Tyvek® Homewrap

✔️ Rebuilt with Hardie siding and a board and batten upper detail to visually break up the massive vertical surface

✔️ Porch area and interior damage professionally repaired and sealed

✔️ Mahogany doors refinished to bring back their rich, natural luster

✔️ Brickwork on the opposite side of the home repaired for symmetry and continuity
